Marios Petridis is an officer in the Hellenic Air Force (HAF), having served in various staff, operational, and combat positions both domestically and internationally. He is currently pursuing a PhD in the Philosophy of Science under the supervision of Assistant Professor S. Orestis Palermos at the Philosophy Department of the University of Ioannina. His main research interests focus on Lethal Autonomous Weapon Systems (LAWS) and their intersection with theories of responsibility and just war theory. Marios holds a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Panteion University and two Master's degrees—one in Science and Technology Studies and another in the Sociology of Law—both from the University of Athens.
